Chiara
Benvenuti! I'm Chiara, and I come from a small town in the North of Italy, right next to the beautiful Como lake.
I have always been in love with teaching, and, after highschool, I attended Classics at the University of Milan to become a professor of Greek and Latin. My passion for ancient languages led me to pursue a Ph.D. in Sanskrit, which I obtained from Sapienza University of Rome in 2021.
During my studies I started volunteering as teacher of Italian for foreigners and I decided to obtain the DITALS certificate to give my classes a more precise and up-to-date structure.
I now live between Italy and the Netherlands, I learn how to teach yoga and, of course, l'italiano!
Federica
Ciao, my name is Federica! I was born in Sicily and I am an Italian Teacher for Foreigners.
After attending high school in Palermo, where I focused on classical studies, I decided to enrol myself in Law and graduated at Università Sapienza in Rome. After graduation, I moved to the Netherlands where I have been living since 2018.
During this time, I cultivated my passion for teaching, eventually obtaining the official DITALS certificate for L2–LS Italian teaching at Università per Stranieri di Siena. Despite living abroad for many years, Italy is always in my heart. I’m passionate about conveying its beautiful language, history and rich culture to all my students.
I also love cooking! Let’s combine these two passions and learn Italian also through its iconic culinary tradition!
Yuri
Ciao, sono Yuri! I come from Morro d’Alba, a tiny paradise which lies between the Appennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea, in the heart of Italy.
I have always been passionate about languages, and in 2018 I graduated in Foreign Languages and Cultures at the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo”.
In the same year, I moved to Amsterdam to start my life abroad, such a wonderful city mixed with many different ethnicities and lifestyles. During this time, I studied to become a certified Italian Language teacher to foreigners and achieved the DITALS certificate. At the end of 2021 I relocated to Berlin for another challenge.
Besides languages, my passions include arts, music, football and travelling.
